The visual representation of moving images started with the zoetrope and as technology started to progress television was introduced as a form to visual the images. The television exhibit was interesting because it shows a clear progression of how television has infiltrated into our lifestyle. Television sets were common among those who had the luxury, but today mainly everyone some sort of handheld television. The TV set were mixed with furniture and as time passed their style changed there was a separation between furniture and the TV. Television sets became smaller and modernized very similar to the progression of the how the camera has evolved. Both devices started as big clunky devices, but they morphed into smaller portable devices.
Today technology has allowed us to basically carry television and a camera within our phones. The advancement of tech has a big role in how moving images are created. There is now a big array of how moving images can be seen. GIFs a form of moving images, which is solely seen in mobile and web devices, we can now see movies through our phones. Tech has allowed us to become closer with media, since they both work together to entertain the user. Having cheap tech allows all the people to have devices in which they can see videos, before television sets and cameras were only marketed towards those who could afford that device. Today movies, videos or any other medium play a huge role in our lifestyle. We encounter some type of moving Image every day, from ads in the train to just using our phones.
